Fernando joined DGS in 2013 from PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he held several leadership positions in both the United States and Latin America. Fernando consulted on some of PWC’s largest clients while serving as the managing partner of the greater Washington, D.C. area and practice leader for a specialty group operating throughout Latin America and the United States.

Fernando was also responsible for starting and growing three distinct businesses within PWC. His experience over his 32 years in public accounting was concentrated in the telecommunications and government contracting sectors. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland with a double degree in business and economics.

Stephen brings 30 years of management experience in the tech and telecommunications industries having managed global organizations for large technology companies including Nortel Networks, and Sprint. He has a proven track record for taking this big company experience to smaller organizations having founded and grown 3 companies as well as providing business consulting services to various tech companies from 11 countries. Steve's focus at DGS is to manage all operational functions of the company.

Stephen holds an electrical engineering degree from the University of Waterloo in Canada.

Alan brings a broad range of career experiences to DGS including Executive Positions at Nortel, Coriant and Positron Access. In these roles Alan has led entire sales functions, major account teams, global sales engineering teams, and virtually every aspect of the technology sales process. In addition, Alan has led sales and corporate development functions at several technology start ups largely focused in the Wireless Networking space. As a consequence of an early financial management career and broad technology exposure Alan brings a unique analytical approach to the Technology Sales function.

As one of the founders of DGS, Jeremy was responsible for the early leadership and vision of the company, developing its product strategy, development focus and the go-to-market execution into the tier 1 carrier and enterprise vertical markets.

Jeremy’s leadership in both product development and sales serves to increasingly align DGS solutions with client needs globally. Jeremy graduated from the University of Maryland College with a B.A. in communications.

Patrick has over 25 years experience in executive sales and technical management spanning mobile applications, carrier infrastructure equipment, IP telephony applications, and networking. With experience selling into Federal civilian agencies and Department of Defense branches, as well as the enterprise market, Pat will help DGS expand market share in key areas.

Patrick holds a bachelors degree from Hendrix College and a master of business administration from Northern Illinois University.

Lt. General John M Mulholland

Served as Deputy Commanding General, United States Special Operations Command where he led and supervised US Special Operations forces employed in upwards of 100 countries round the world, with primacy to on-going combat operations.

As Associate Director of Military Affairs, he served as the senior military advisor on operations, actions and activities for Defense interactions. As Commanding General, United States Army Special Operations Command, United States Special Operations Command, he led the world's market-leading ground and helicopter special operations capability. As Commanding General, Special Operations Command, Central, Commander, United States Central Command, he planned and executed special operations across the Middle East and South Asia in support of US national and regional strategy, goals and objectives. As Deputy Commanding General, Joint Special Operations Command, he acted as the Deputy Commander of the world's most unique and broadly capable special operations organization. Provided organizational leadership and guidance to this multi-million organization responsible for the development of cutting-edge applications of operational art, intelligence disciplines, technology, human performance and advanced tactics for global employment. Served as Acting Commander of JSOC forces in the Continental US whenever Commander, JSOC was forward deployed. Served as Acting Commander of JSOC operational forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.

His various leadership roles provide a unique perspective to DGS leadership on how is technology can help save lives.

Vice Admiral Sean A Pybus

Vice Admiral Sean A Pybus

Admiral Pybus is the former Deputy Commander, US Special Operations Command. He is a career Naval Special Warfare (NSW) SEAL officer with multiple Joint Special Operations duty assignments. Decorations include the Defense Distinguished Service Medal (one award), Distinguished Service Medal (one award), Defense Superior Service Medal (three awards), Legion of Merit (two awards), Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), and various other awards.

Vice Adm. Sean A. Pybus graduated from the University of Rochester in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and earned a regular Navy commission through Navy ROTC. He graduated Basic Underwater Demolition/Seal (BUD/S) training in December 1979, with Class 105. He is also a 1998 Distinguished Graduate of the Naval War College with a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies.

Robert Gunther

Mr. Gunther is the founder and Chairman of Highpoint Tower Technology. He has extensive experience in the acquisition and development of telecommunication sites and he has been looked upon as a pioneer and leader in the wireless communications industry since 1967. He has a BS degree from Wagner College in Staten Island, New York, and has also attended the prestigious Corporate Finance, Taxation and Banking Graduate Program at the NYU Graduate School of Business. Mr. Gunther is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Radio Club of America and a life member of AFCEA. Since 1967, Mr. Gunther has been owner and general manager of Highpoint Enterprises Inc., the flagship company in the Highpoint group.

Kevin Bennis has over 35 years of experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors. He is the current President and CEO of KB Advisors, a company who aims to help e commerce/software/technology companies access the major cable, wireless and wireline companies in North America. Prior to his time at KB Advisors Kevin served in numerous leadership roles such as Chairman of 10e Solutions, President & CE of SunRocket, President & CEO of Sprint Canada, and President of Frontier Communications. Kevin spent the first 21 years of his career with MCI, where he eventually worked as President of the System Integration Division.

Kevin is on the Board of Advisors of Touch Commerce and has served on the board of numerous early and late stage companies, including Sprint Canada, 10e Solutions, Anystream, and Razorsight.

After spending the last 25 years in executive leadership roles for 3 fortune 100 companies John leaves behind the relative security of corporate America to take the helm as Aether’s CEO. The professional experience he brings to Aether, his personal involvement in industry wide Edge Initiatives and passion for this technology are the perfect recipe for a streamlined and profitable endeavor that has the potential to make a huge difference in society.

    • John comes to Aether having held Senior Executive roles in Architecture, Engineering, Application Development, Sales and Service Delivery at both IBM and JPMorgan Chase. He has served in virtually every role he will be responsible for throughout his career varying from individual contributor to managing Global teams of over 1000 staff. He brings an accomplished team of Industry Experts to key roles at Aether along with a diverse network of extremely valuable high-level relationships across the Distributed Computing, Network, Communications and Media & Entertainment industries

In his role at Hitachi John lead America’s Telco & IoT Solution Sales and Business Development for Hitachi Vantara. He was responsible for Direct Sales and Business Development for ~$500M / year annual revenue across Hitachi’s US based Global Strategic customers. In addition to his duties at Hitachi John serves in a leadership capacity on several strategic industry professional organizations including the Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA), Smart City Council City Network Taskforce and the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety & Security (NCS4).

Prior to joining Hitachi John held senior executive positions at both JPMorgan Chase and IBM.

At what is now JPMorgan Chase John joined Chemical bank early in his career as part of the acquisition of US Trust Technology and became one of Chase Manhattan Banks youngest Vice President at age 25. John served in a leadership capacity across virtually every IT function while at JPMC. Key programs included Y2K remediation, Disaster Recovery Preparedness, Network Architecture & Engineering, M&A Technology Integration, Trading Floor Technology operations, Call Center operations, Helpdesk services, Desktop, Server & Storage Technology and the US Emergency Response team. At the top of his career John held the position of SVP Global Distributed Computing managing a team of ~1000 people delivering support for close to 40,000 servers in 17 datacenters across the US, EMEA and APAC with an annual operating budget of just over $600M/year.

At IBM John led Global Outsourcing engagements for several large enterprises including Delta Airlines, Astra Zeneca, American Express and Disney. His team was directly responsible for close to $5B in outsourcing sales revenue during his tenure in IGS Sales. The last 3 years at IBM he led the IBM outsource delivery team for Disney Technology & Shared Services with annual revenue of over $200M per year.

Kevin joined the Board of Directors of DGS in 2019 after retiring from Scotiabank as President and Chief Executive Officer of Scotia Capital (USA) Inc., where he managed the Bank’s multi-billion dollar capital markets business in the Americas, Europe and Asia.  Previously, Kevin was a Managing Partner of the private investment firm Guggenheim Partners, where he was involved with managing the alternative asset, wealth management and principal investment businesses.  Prior to joining Guggenheim, Kevin was a Managing Director of RBC Capital Markets and was associated with the international law firm of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in New York.

Kevin holds a Masters of Law degree in Securities Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center, a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bucknell University.

Kevin is currently a member of the board of directors of Global Atlantic Financial Group, chairman of the board of Spirit Yachts Ltd., and a member of the dean’s advisory council of Villanova School of Business.

Frederick D. DiSanto

Frederick D. DiSanto is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ancora. He became the Chief Executive Officer in 2006 and Chairman in 2014. Mr. Frederick D. DiSanto leads Ancora and its three Registered Investment Advisors along with its Broker Dealer.

Prior to joining Ancora, Mr. Frederick D. DiSanto served as the Executive Vice President and Manager of the Fifth Third Bank’s Investment Advisors Division overseeing Investment Management, Private Banking and Trust and Banking Ser- vices. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Maxus Investment Group from 1998 until December of 2000, which was subsequently sold to Fifth Third Bank in January 2001. In his role at Maxus, he was responsible for the marketing, sales and financial operations. He also served as Managing Partner at Gelfand Partners Asset Management from 1991 until its merger with Maxus Investment Group in 1997. Mr. Frederick D. DiSanto began his investment career in 1985 with McDonald Investments in Institutional Equity Sales.

Mr. Frederick D. DiSanto is currently on the boards of Medical Mutual of Ohio, Case Western Reserve University, Digital Global Systems, The Eastern Company (EML), Edgewater Technology, Inc. (EDGW) and Regional Brands, Inc. (RGBD). He is also on the Executive Committee for the Board of Trustees at Case Western Reserve University. Fred is a former Chairman of the Board of Regents of St. Ignatius High School and former Chairman and current Trustee of the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission. He is a past Board Member of Lorain National Bank (LNBB) and Parkview Federal Savings Bank (PVFC). Fred earned a Bachelor degree in Management Science from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Management (Cleveland, Ohio).

Stephen Mahedy is currently a Senior Advisor to Owl Rock Capital and was previously a managing director with Benefit Street Credit Partners  and Providence Equity ($45b AUM). Prior to joining BSP in 2010, Mr. Mahedy established the high-yield and distressed business unit at MF Global. Previously, he served as a managing director of the technology, media and telecom group and sector head of global technology research at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.  As a sell-side research analyst at Citigroup covering Internet Infrastructure and software, Mr. Mahedy received numerous Institutional Investor citations, including a top ranking in Internet Infrastructure. (Ranked #1 by Funds with assets of >$75billion and ranked #1 by Greenwich Associates, Most Trusted Analyst) Mr. Mahedy received a Master of Science, Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science, Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Leonard Moscati has over 30 year's experience in Financial Services at Global Investment Banking firms including Morgan Stanley and Barclays Bank where he was a Managing Director. He holds Board positions at two additional Companies- FORU International Inc., a health and wellness company and Presidium USA, Inc a specialty chemical polymer company. Leonard has a B.S.(B.A.) degree in Economics from Manhattan College and an M.B.A. degree in Finance from Pace University.

Jason Kampf serves on the Board and overseas Business Development for CoVant. Exclusively partnered with Madison Dearborn Partners (Chicago), CoVant brings true operational experience to the PE marketplace. CoVant and Madison Dearborn Partners acquired LGS Innovations (LGS) during 2012. LGS focuses on providing technical solutions to the U.S. Government and is a strategic technology partner with Digital Global Systems (DGS). Jason sits on the LGS, CoVant and DGS Boards and thus ensures LGS and DGS pursue opportunities where there is synergy between the two firm’s solutions. A graduate of American University, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, Law, Economics & Government.
