SigBase® 6000 System Wideband Automated Spectrum Monitoring with Direction Finding

SigBase™6000 is an autonomous and intelligent spectrum monitoring system. With up to 320 MHz of real-time bandwidth and a logic engine capable of configuring multiple independent receivers, the system is engineered to operate within the most demanding Signal environments.

The SigBase™ 6000 unique learning engine models regarding the customary and expected signal activity. These baseline environmental models can be used for optimization efforts such as channel planning, as well as the detection of intermittent interference and illicit activity.

The SigBase™ 6000 can operate independently or as part of a distributed network of nodes. When new or previously unknown signals are detected, and based on pre determined parameters, detailed alerts are sent to remote terminals in order to notify stakeholders. For direction finding applications, the networked approach enables a “CUT,” to be provided to the operator as the azimuth’s intersect, aiding advanced understanding of the location of potential activity.

Drone Detect

The SigBase™ 6000 drone detect module (optional), can detect and classify multiple types of UAS from a significant distance.  This provides actionable information regarding the presence of a threat, its characteristics and its line of bearing.  Information regarding the controller is also made available.  The system’s detection range and speed are superior to other RF based systems in the market.

Conflict Detection

Three differentiators of the system, are its ability to perform complex mathematics on the node, aggregate data over time and perform automated actions based on observed conditions.  Time aggregated data regarding noise floor values and signal activity, enables the system to automatically identify unexpected activity.  When conflicts are detected, simple actions, such as e-mails to stakeholders can be completed autonomously.  More complex actions such as receiver retuning, IQ capture, demod and DF are also completed make data more actionable.


SigBase™ 6000 supports both PMR and Telco (forward link) demodulation packages.  For PMR, IF bandwidth, RSS, modulation type, radio ID and network ID (if available) can be displayed.  With this capability, details regarding a radio causing interference, can easily be identified.  The ability to determine GCI/PCI data, along with neighbor lists, enables operators to understand when conditions such as overshoot are occurring.
